Only a few tweaks since the last update. Ohio State moves to the 3 line (very solid 12 teams, I could see a pair of the three seeds in the final four). Indiana stays on the 1 line– they are still in first in a very difficult conference with an impressive resume. Gonzaga is the top team, but I would expect them to fall even if they win the West Coast Conference (Kansas and Indiana would pass winning out incl. Conf tournies). Baylor falls out of the last four in, welcome back Virginia. Illinois still has impressive enough of a resume that I have them as a 7-seed.
Southern Miss, Alabama and St. John’s joined Baylor as bubble teams losing. Look for the bubble to strengthen over the next week. There will be interesting debates if Akron or Middle Tennessee State for example fail to win their conference tournament.
Last four in: Boise St, St. Mary’s, Kentucky, Virginia
